Biwako Cruise

BIWAKO TOUR of ISLANDS

Lake Biwa is the world's third oldest lake — experience the long history of this lake, and the everyday lifestyles
and culture of the people who live around it, on this half-day tour.

Experience Lake Biwa’s history, nature and culture by boat

The only cruise that traverses the whole lake for a full day of enjoyment on Lake Biwa.

We will depart from Ootsu Port in the morning, arrive at Okinoshima Island and take time for a shore excursion. We will then head for Takeshima and Chikubushima Islands via Oki-no-Shiraishi Rocks and take time for a shore excursion at each location.

After leaving these islands, we will pass Shirahige Shrine, which stands in the lake, and return to Ootsu Port.
